Large and comfortable outdoor and indoor dining areas.Comfortable bed and rare to have a king/super king in pub accommodation. Slight downside...we needed to sleep with window closed with secondary glazing as the droning noise from external fan units was quite loud ..more constant than any road noise. However our room had a ceiling fan which helped with air circulation in a late summer stay. Very good dinner menu.... the slow cooked lamb special was delicious. Nice cooked breakfast.

Booked super king room but the only thing big was the bed. The room was small, shower small, creaky floors and lots of cobwebs. We couldn’t find any lights after coming back up to our room and had to use torch on our phones to find instructions! After moving bedside tables found lots of cobwebs! Restaurant food was very good.

The room was small but perfectly adequate, but with a very soft bed meant I was closer to the wife than normal! Shame about the central heating being left on maximum during a heat wave. The attached pub was friendly and this makes any establishment better. The breakfast was superb.

I booked as a last minute decision, i was planning to camp and do the lanes on my motorbike. However the weather was not great so a hotel seemed a better choice. Great little hotel pub. Shame it not got a busy vibe but perfect for a night. Great price too.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left (4 days) we were amazed at the way the hotel was so well run. From the cleanliness of the room to the superb service and excellent food to the friendliness of the staff and the professionalism of the team. I would like to thank everyone involved. Ps The breakfasts are wonderful.

Brilliant stopover,really nice staff. Food was very good evening meal and breakfast ,room was clean and had everything needed,and some very nice beers also.couldn’t fault it. Will definitely stay here again

We booked 4 rooms for one night which included breakfast. We all received a nice welcome and were pleased with the cleanliness and very comfortable beds. My wife and I stayed here in June and had no hesitation in staying here again. We all had an evening meal which was delicious, my King prawn Malayan curry had plenty of taste and many prawns. The attentive staff, in particular Tony and Izzy were very polite & professional. Breakfast was also very good, served by Tony. One of our party was vegan who praised the good choice of food and drink. Great value for comfort and the prices they charge.

Excellent stay at this wonderful little find near Alcester. Perfect for a visit to Cadbury World or Just because its lovely. The room was clean and tidy, staff helpful and accommodating, food delicious but the best bit was the unexpected views from the back of the pub, just a stunning outlook over open fields. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful views. Breakfast wasnt the best but also not the worst we have ever had, the sausages definitely need cooking more but the orange juice and pancakes are delicious and staff are all very friendly. If the room was properly cleaned this would be highly recommended. There was a false eyelash on the bed, towels smelled musty and one was not clean. There was what looked like crisps around one of the beds and the bathroom needs a proper clean and the soaps refilling as they were empty. The tea/coffee/sugar is obviously not checked as there was hard packets of sugar and empty sweetener packets in there. The safety catch on the bathroom window is broken and the smaller window in the room also which is really not great for a family room. The beds are comfy though and there is plenty of parking. Just needs better cleaning & maintenance and we would definitely return. If you stay here there is a restaurant just down the road that does the most amazing pizzas and also incredible outside space, i cant remember the name but they have a teepee outside

We stayed in the family room which was clean and spacious with ceiling fans that kept us nice and cool overnight. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom also spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed delicious meals for dinner and breakfast. I was a little disappointed with the lack of vegetarian choice on the menu (I had just two meal options, neither suitable for a hot summer's evening), but the food I ate was tasty. My daughters both agreed they would like to visit again.

Recently refurbished to a high standard this 8 roomed hotel was a pleasant one night stopover for us. Our room was clean & comfortable, although the ceiling fan was pretty useless in the hot weather. It may have needed adjusting but there was no information about it in the room! The dividing room walls do not prevent all the noise from the adjoining room from being heard. The bar and dining area was spacious and there were plenty of staff providing good friendly service. We had a lovely evening meal and our breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. Outdoor seating area at the rear looks out over the fields and was pleasant for a drink before our evening meal. No problem with parking, plenty of room. It is nicely located for Stratford upon Avon(20mins drive) and less than 20 mins to the lovely village of Alcester. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
