An exquisite oasis behind the large and impressive riad doors. We recently returned from a trip to Marrakesh where we stayed at Maison Zamane for 4 nights and 5 days. The riad is large and there are only 7 rooms for guests, so space is plentiful and the general ambiance extremely peaceful. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful en suite bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price and can be eaten at whatever time of the morning is convenient and anywhere you wish on one of the 2/3 floors. The rooftop has a lovely plunge pool and plenty of room to sunbathe and relax. We used the spa throughout our stay - it is available to guests only and any beauty treatments can be booked easily and quickly either in advance or upon arrival. We kicked off with a Hammam scrub at the start of our stay which was great fun. The walk to restaurants and the main square was 5-10 minutes, so everything was within walking distance and very conveniently located. Returning to the riad at the end of the day was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of life outside the accommodation. We were superbly looked after by the General Manager, Zamal and his colleague, Yassin - nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile on their faces and efficiently. I would highly recommend the riad, I can't imagine there are many better in the vicinity. A thoroughly wonderful stay and we look forward to returning one day. Thanks for having us!
