Just got home from my two night stay here in AC. Had a great time and hotel was perfect for my needs. Right next to the Tropicana and one or two block walking distance to 711, bodegas, Chinese food, pizza, liquor store, Dunkin', Walgreens and everything else you could need. Best part is it's right on the Boardwalk so you're a stone's throw away from the Beach! Thank you, Coastal Inn!

Staffpersons were very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. I liked that the Hotel is positioned so close to the Boardwalk and beach! I'd just note that, because I'd received permission to stay until noon rather than 11am, I announced this to other staffpersons, knowing that people might not all get the message. Nevertheless, a man entered my room without knocking when I was unclad, and then closed the door. I believe he received a due lecture thereafter, so trust that the situation has been corrected.

Only thing that was good about this property was location. It was less than a block away from boardwalk. The outside was ran down . The door chain lock was hanging off wall so I had to put a chair to door for security reasons. Then the bathroom was horrible,it had cigarette burns all over counter and bathroom tub and shower was from the 1970s.

Only two towels and wash clothes the whole weekend. Asked for clean and the guy on duty couldn’t find clean and made me take dirty ones back. Tub was clogged, bathroom exhaust fan broken bathroom got soaked every shower! No sockets to plug anything into besides one in room that worked and one in bathroom which ended up getting phone wet when I realized exhaust fan didn’t work. Do not stay there! Bed felt like I was sleeping on box spring I’m very skinny and have bruised hips on my sleeping side. Worst then the dirtiest and cheapest hotel I’ve ever been to. bro

The room is actually in better shape than it appears from the outside, but this hotel still has a long way to go before I’d stay here again — even for a one-night stay, which was the length of my visit this time. Several basic issues made the stay frustrating: * The room doors either didn’t work properly or kept getting stuck. * Only one outlet in the room worked. * The bedside lights didn’t function. * There was no trash can or trash bag in the room. On top of that, there was a $10 parking fee that felt unnecessary, especially since nothing was provided to show proof of payment for parking.

Beware room 160 locks are rigged to not lock the door. Be sure to push, pull to assure that your belongings are safely secured!!!

The room was neat and clean, and it was super close to the boardwalk and beach. The staff were efficient and friendly. There was a lamp that hung on the wall between the beds with outlets on them, but there was no plug to plug it in. There were only 2 outlets in the room and the TV and refrigerator were plugged into one of them. Made charging all our devices difficult. The internet was terrible. Atlantic City Beach was absolutely disgusting and I will never go back there again, but it was a good visit despite the dirty beach. Great if you are ona slim budget.

This is the worst hotel I ever stood in . I’ve been to Atlantic City every year. And I never stood In such a bad place. We were move 3 times. The room had a tv and bed. Not microwave or complementary.coffee. I will never recommend this hotel

SO - I decided to wait until the last week prior to a big billiards tournament here in AC at Harrahs, and everything around Harrahs was booked (of course). I just went to expedia looking for a basic room, and this came up for Friday & Saturday night at a few hundred bucks total WHICH was half of what most others wanted. THIS IS a basic room. I am old-scool and come from a far away time where 70 a night got you a BASIC room. I UNDERSTAND that there is a tournament in town BUT if you're going to charge me a few hundred bucks for a single Saturday night can you make sure the room has at least ONE trash can and a couple cups? Also - I fixed your toilet in 303 as the float was out of adjustment......that'll be a few hundred bucks please ;) I feel like this place is "under renovation" as there's lots of repairs ongoing. Just be prepared for a very basic level of motel with a horizontal bed and hot water out of the shower. OUR A/C WAS CRAZY COLD which I did appreciate, and the half-full gallon of milk in the fridge was a nice touch.
