Clean and well maintained property. I thought it was right on the lake, which it’s not, the lake is across the street, but still had a nice view. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Our stay at the Sandbar was amazing. The renovated room was so cute and clean. Every inch of the property felt new and improved! I highly suggest the stay! Plus, it’s close to everything you need!

It has a motel feel as there is no staff and all room doors are on a corridor next to the car park. It is well maintained and well thought through with everything you could want. Coffee maker entertainment and lounging chairs. Highly recommend this place

The property is close enough to the lake to walk to and we loved that. They are still working on some of the things they are going to offer and when they get everything finished it will be great. Great AC and comfortable beds!

Was expensive for what you get. Makes me wonder what a five star hotel would cost. The hot tub , sauna and fire pit were all shared, so they were unusable if someone else were using them. There’s no on site staff so, if you need anything you have to wait for an answer back from a text. The tv is a Roku tv so bring your login information. The room was very clean and well stocked with towels and coffee and hot tea. There shampoo, conditioner and body wash although I brought my own. The air conditioning worked well.

This hotel is brand new. Beautiful. Rooms were comfortable, and very cozy feeling. The grounds were beautiful. We never saw any staff. I called the number on the reservation, to enquire where to park our boat, they gave me a number for a different guy, I had to leave a message, and that person never called me back over 3 days. The walls are very thin. The hotel should not lump all the people together and keep using the same three rooms. There were only 3 cars there the entire time, yet we were all on top of each other. We were woken up at 6 am both days, just with people talking. I never had walls so thin in a hotel. That was the only drawback. If they would have left a room in between it would have been fine. I don't know if we would chance staying there again, just because of that.

The Sandbar is being renovated. Only half of it is done. There is no check-in or no one to actually speak to. If there is a problem we had to talk with the workers. The outside bar is not set up yet. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Having said that, the room was very nice and clean. The outdoor space was nice and functional, good view of the lake. They did have an indoor area with couches and a couple game tables. It will be a really nice place when it is complete!

Please note that the staff was very nice. However, the pictures online are very deceptive and this resort is currently under construction and not right on the lake. Yes you can walk down to boat ramp. The pictures online do NOT reflect the current situation of what the place looks like. The room was completed and was very nice but I feel duped by the owners and asked for a partial refund as not all amenities were available but did not get a response. Shame, shame for false advertising.

We had a really good time staying here for the first time. I’ll definitely come back. This place is perfect spot to get together with family and friends. It had all of the amenities we needed for the perfect weekend getaway!

The location of the lodge was great. they were doing a lot of construction on the one wing. several of the outdoor amenities were not available to use.
