We had a great stay. The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Love how it's tucked in the trees and we sat outside in front of our room in the sun for a bit before we had to go to an event.

Trailhead Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. It’s nestled in the woods and it’s very comfortable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great stay. I would encourage others to go to the trailhead Lodge.

this is THE hotel if you are heading to the cascade lakes highway. It was a perfect stop before and after our backpacking trip up to green lakes. 25 min to the trailhead is unbeatable!

So happy we came across this cute lodge on our way passing through to CA. It recently opened so everything is new, fresh and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and spa were great for playtime with the kids (they have a bunch of outdoor games as well) and the place was super dog friendly and has many cool trials and dog parks nearby also. Would highly recommend and happy to come back another time,

The staff is an incredibly friendly & helpful - it was so nice to be welcomed by them when we arrived. The hotel is perfect for our needs, a comfortable bed, mini-fridge and the basics. The hot tub was a very pleasant experience after a long day of paddle boarding!

I rated it good instead of excellent because of a few kinks that they are working out. When we stayed, they had just opened 3 weeks prior after extensive renovations. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and everything got resolved very timely. The room is basic but very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the electrical outlets in the room we stayed in were placed in awkward places but functional. We would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely charming property close to hiking, biking, and the mountain. Great staff. Truly the best of Bend without the hype. Great outdoor fire pits, swimming pool, and lodge for wine and beer.

This was a nice place and it's a nice place for families. The reason for a four-star is they really could use more lighting in the room. No bedside lights make it really dim. The sheets were a little scratchy, maybe a little too much starch.

This place exceeded all my expectations. Perfect location to tour all the lakes & close to restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, the hot tub and pool were clean and kept up. The staff was amazing with recommendations and helpfulness! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Not to mention ruin the hiking path next door, the fabulous fire pits and hammocks. Definitely a fun place for all types of visitors. I definitely will stay here again

I had the honor of being their first guest, and I have to say this team and property are my absolute FAVORITE anywhere. What a joy everyone is, so kind and thoughtful, the details they’ve put into the property are incredible. The beds are brand new and I got the best sleep I’ve had in weeks. The setting is serene and gorgeous. Everything is clean, and not just works, but thoughtfully planned out for a truly best guest experience. I would stay longer if I could, and I’ll certainly be back! Cannot recommend enough!

We love the location and vibe. Simple, clean rooms that have what you need. The best access to Mt Bachelor, and we love that we can ride our bikes right from our room onto the Deschutes River Trail. The grounds, including the pool and hot tub, were clean. The property was quiet and peaceful, though we’d also enjoy live music, as this was something we enjoyed at this property when it was under previous management. The pool was very cold. During past stays (previous management), I thought the pool was heated, but I may be remembering wrong. This certainly won’t keep us from returning, though, and we’re already planning our next visit.

The room was very nice. The property exterior looked basic, but the rooms were well-appointed and modern. The room felt luxurious. I noticed the hot water ran out a little quicker than I expected in the shower. More hot water for a longer shower would have been nice. Next morning when I woke up and opened the curtain, I was surprised to see two workers out front looking at my room. One of them knocked on my door and asked me to move my van because they needed to remove a tree! This was unexpected, but I complied and returned to the room. They moved a huge crane directly in front of the room, extended it upwards, and a chainsaw-wielding worker began to scamper up the huge tree! Looking out, I decided to move my van further away, just in case. Then I walked over to the office to discuss the situation. The lodge did not appear full so I asked why I was given a room where tree removal would be occurring directly in front. The hotel employee said it was a miscommunication (with the tree trimmers?) and that work was going on throughout the property. They offered me a $50 refund, which I accepted. It was odd that a worker from a tree-trimming company was the one to knock on my door, that the work was occurring while I was in the room and that no forethought was given to this situation. Later that day I received an email from the property general manager offering a FULL refund. Despite this very unexpected disruption, I enjoyed my stay.
