Avoid this place – Absolute time wasters! No reception, no proper customer service, emails go unanswered, and their phone number never gets through. We paid a £150 security deposit and were told it would be refunded the same day, but it’s now been 5 days and we’re still chasing our money. They were quick to take the payment but impossible to reach when it comes to giving it back. Extremely frustrating experience. Avoid this place and think twice before booking!

Don't ever, and i repeat, EVER make the same mistake i did and avoid at all cost to stay in this disgusting guest house! I stayed just for emergency for one night because was the cheapest solution and when i get there i found the guy that was cleaning and i asked information on how to book a room and he told that i had to do it online and that i had to pay a deposit of 151 £ that it would be refunded if i left the room in the same conditions i found it. I asked multiple times for confirmation about this matter and both the guy and the online assistance assured me that the deposit would be refunded by 14-20 days. To the assistance i also noticied that when i got into the room the window handle was i already detached but even telling right away this to the online assistance, and trying to telling them almost every week after my stay that my deposit hasn't been refunded, to this day (that makes 30 days) i still didn't get my money back so that makes them a TOTAL SCAM and only FILTHY THIEVES! Adding the fact that in the middle of the night a guy opened the door of my room while i was sleeping and nobody knew why this problem happend and that they didn't informed me about the time of the check-out, carrying out of my room my belongings and putting them in a decrepit storage makes me wonder how this forsaken place is in activity and why they don't close it instead, making them pay such large fines to make them never think again to pull this "jokes" to their unlucky customers!

Where to start. I booked the place for one night on a business trip at the last minute. My rationale was based on price alone and that was the first mistake. The booking on Hotels, was easy. However, the need to pay a refundable security deposit of nearly three times the room cost was a bit of a shock. The room was clean, that is the only good thing I can say. The photos are very misleading. On the surface it looks like a lovely old Edwardian house, in reality that is derelict, the accommodation is in a modern single storey side extension. The room while clean was incredibly basic. The heating was jammed on full blast and it was like a sauna in there, if it was 30°C it was a miracle. The room looked out over an overgrown garden and the window locks were broken, meaning despite room doors having locks, the room was still insecure. There are no staff on site so getting any real time support is impossible. I have stayed in some grim places in the past, but this is the grimmest by far.
