The apartment itself was clean and well-presented. It can be a bit noisy at night due to street traffic. I do think this might be because of the hot weather. We were hearing emergency vehicles non-stop day and night. Perfectly located within easy walking distance of the city centre. This was my extended stay at this apartment. I originally stayed with my family in the first apartment, then I chose to stay by myself for 3 more nights.

Wir waren 2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern. Das 4 Bett-Zimmer war sehr schön es hatte alles was es brauchte außer, das Geschirr war nur 3fach vorhanden. Auch hatte es nur 2 Stühle, so das wir in Etappen gegessen hatten und somit klappte es wunderbar.

Our stay at Sky Apartments Vlhka was a mix of positives and negatives. The apartment itself was clean, well-presented, and perfectly located within easy walking distance of the city centre. However, we felt somewhat unsafe walking to the apartment on our arrival to the apartment due to the number of homeless individuals on the street. Communication with the staff was quite poor, while the team members were friendly once we finally talked to them or managed to track someone down. Pros: Excellent location: Very close to the city centre and easily walkable. Great rooms: Clean, tidy, and well-presented. Friendly staff: The team members are very welcoming when you find them. Return stay: I would choose to stay here again. Cons: Poor communication: It is very difficult to get hold of the staff. Unsafe surroundings: Walking to the apartment felt unsafe during the day due to the high number of homeless people on the street Despite these challenges, the convenience of the location and the quality of the room were enough that I would choose to stay here again.

The check-in instructions were provided, but the process wasn’t very straightforward as the key was kept in a lockbox and there were a couple of steps to follow before reaching the lift. The hallway was quiet. Unfortunately, the apartment was disappointing for a week-long stay. The room and bathroom were both very small, with a shower area separated by foldable doors. There was a strange smoke-like smell in the bathroom, and the toilet did not appear to be properly cleaned. No vacuum cleaner was provided and there were no extra bin liners, so we had to buy our own for the week. The laundry drying stand was also broken. The biggest issue was the heat. The apartment was extremely hot, while the fan provided did not actually circulate enough air to make a difference. The corridor and outside areas were noticeably cooler than inside, so we often had to leave the apartment simply to get some relief from the heat. We contacted the WhatsApp number provided but received no response. We then contacted Hotels.com and were told someone would come to inspect the issue that day, but nobody came throughout our stay. We also contacted customer service about our concerns and were offered compensation, but there was no further response afterwards, which was disappointing and made us feel our concerns were not being taken seriously. The surrounding neighbourhood also felt somewhat rough, with council housing nearby.
