A very beautiful place with kind hosts, the Riad Adarissa in Fes was a perfect place to introduce us to Morocco. We stayed in the Senior Suite, which was big for the two of us, decorated tastefully and even had a traditional bathing area. The room was well equipped with extra blankets and heat (we stayed during winter). The terrace had a panoramic view of many of the sites in Old Fes, including the Merenid Tombs (closed but you can still see them from afar). The breakfast was truly a continental mix of a Morrocan specialty (e.g., one pancake) and western breads.

Great location very close to food outlets and Blue Gate for self location. Great rooftop relaxation area and view, super professional staff Fatima and Noureddine who arranged for private pick up from train station and a porter at the gate to carry my luggage and direct me straight to the hotel. They did this on departure also.Beautiful Riad also, I would highly recommend Adarissa.

We had a great time in the riad. Our room was large and clean, and it was cleaned well every afternoon. The staff was very nice. We interacted most with Haddou, and he was very nice and helpful. He helped answer all our questions about the area and helped foster a welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend this riad!

I would definitely stay here again. The team at Riad Adarissa - Haddou and Ana in particular - were so welcoming and warm. I am so appreciative of their service and generosity over my say.
The location of the riad is great and near landmarks - like the Blue Gate - so getting lost/navigation back to the riad is easy. Stepping out onto the main street turning right are local markets with mountains of fruit, home goods, local food supplies. It's great. Turning left are more local craftspeople stores with leather and textiles.l etc on the way to the famous tanneries.
At the riad, breakfast is free and you can pay for a Moroccan dinner cooked in the kitchen by Ana. However outside on the main street are numerous really good restaurants you can enjoy as well. In particular Sodfa which is so homely to the right. And to the left I had Pastilla the Fes speciality and one of the others.
The terrace in the roof has a great view of the rooftops of Fes.
The Riad is beautiful. Housekeeping is great and the road is very clean. Yet the pictures of the riad make the Riad look a little bit more luxurious than it is. I would absolutely stay here again. But a few tweaks - like toiletries provided, double curtains on the room I was in rather than just a sheer one. Just a few cosmetic tweaks would make it perfect.

Amazing riad with a very nice breakfast and staff! The owner spent 3 years renovating and it shows. Location around it is safe but can appear run down but I prefer the term ‘historic’. Loved my stay there and they were so kind! Thank you !

The road was nice, quite and very clean. Haddou was very hospitable and helpful. The room was nice but a little claustrophobic. The bathroom was clean and would be nice to have a head shower instead of the hand shower. Overall was good stay.

We stayed 2 nights here in Fes. Our family enjoyed this beautifully decorated Riad. The guardians, Haddouk Hallou and wife made a very good host. We felt welcomed and at home. Haddock was very helpful and took the extra steps to assist our stays in Fes. His wife, Hannah cooked us a delicious chicken Tagine. A great place to be 😄😄

If you like character, this place is for you. Beautiful and unique Riad. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast waiting for us in the morning. They even prepared a to-go breakfast when we had to leave early our last morning. Pretty roof top particularly in the evening when lights come on. Great spot to go wander the Medina and come back for a quick rest or break from the busyness. Jean Claude and Hadou we're really friendly and gave us great tips for our stay not just in Fes but other destinations. On top of this, we arrived in Fes not feeling great and when my husband got worse, Hadou went out of his way to get us some over the counter medication and food. The kindness was immensely appreciated and definitely helped. If I could give bonus stars I would.

Riad Adarissa is moments from the blue gate 'Bab Boujloud' within the Medina. Enter the gate, walk to the first turn off to the left 'Serrajine', continue for about 10mins down the alley. Look for the Riad Adarissa sign above the lane. It's an oasis, away from the bustle of the Medina. Taxis/cars cannot enter past the Blue gate.
The interior is beautifully decorated, peaceful and cool. One is greeted by Haddou, the manager who provides excellent service, attentive and readily available should you need assistance.
Breakfast is generous and they also provide dinner [at a cost]. I highly recommend this Riad. In fact, to look further for accommodation would be a waste of time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Adarissa! Made our time in Fes so enjoyable. Jean Claude, the owner, and staff were so accommodating and outstanding hosts. In particular we fell in love with Haddou... such a lovely person. Haddou catered to all our needs and gave us all info we needed while in Fes. Thank you Haddou (my new second father in Fes :).
You'll love your stay here. Great location... right in the middle of the old Medina and easy to get anywhere (including to the gate if you need to get a taxi).

Exceptional!!! You will not be disappointed. Magically step back in time the moment you walk through the front doors where you are welcomed with warmth, friendliness, sincerity and kindness.Nothing is impossible or too much trouble for our host, from local recommendations for dining, a well prepared map to guide you through the 9000+ streets, or ensuring that every comfort requirement you may have is met. The property exudes the characteristics and charms of yesteryear. A private Oasis amongst the vibrant Medina life. What a memorable stay and experience. Highly recommend! A special thank you to Haddou, Noureddine and Jean Claude. A real pleasure to have met you. Until our next visit, David and Pez

We, two young women, stayed one week in Riad Adarissa. We had the most wonderful time with Haddoud and his family, which made our stay so very pleasant. They helped us in every way possible, and truly treated us like family. Whenever we had an issue, they gladly helped us and made sure we are safe, and don't get scammed on the streets. The Riad is in the middle of the Medina, with every sightseeing attraction in walking distance. There are multiple food stalls and higher class restaurants within the area, offering traditional food for reasonable pricing. The building itself is charming, and offers clean rooms and a calm environment for reading and enjoying tea outside on the patio or the rooftop.
10 / 10 recommend.

This was my favorite stay in all of Morocco.
The Riad is right nearby the Bab and it's the busy bab so all the food and drink you could want is within a few steps.
Staff was by far the most helpful, considerate, and friendly I had in Morocco. Hadou and Fatima went above and beyond most reasonable means to make sure my stay was fantastic.
my suite was on the main floor which gave me concerns about privacy but the suite comes with heavy curtains and plenty of ways of allow me to retreat when I needed time alone.
Fez was my favorite city to visit in Morocco and it was in part to this Riad. Thank you.

We highly recommend Riad Adarissa and really enjoyed our stay there. Really well located just off one of the two main streets in the Medina, but very quiet. The decor is amazing, the wooden doors, among many other renovated touches, are beautiful and we could have spent days just admiring the Riad itself. As other reviews indicate, the staff at the Riad is absolutely standout wonderful and made us feel at home. Nourredine the manager was easy to communicate with prior to arrival and made sure we were comfortable. Haddou was attentive to our every need and really went the extra mile for example walking us to a petit taxi and talking to the driver for us. His wife (sorry to forget her name) cooked a really great dinner for us. Breakfast was very good. They had many recommendations for tours and excursions that we were not able to take advantage of.
