Beautiful property with a lovely yard and spectacular views!. Room and property very clean and hostess is wonderful and most helpful. She even dropped what she was doing and gave us a ride to the train station when our taxi failed to show up. Breakfast high quality. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants--we enjoyed the stroll, but it could be a problem if one is mobility challenged and there without a car. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Kaikoura.

Just loved our stay at Bendamere. Julie is a fantastic host. Superb communication. The shower is so good especially after finishing the Kaikoura cycle trial (thoroughly recommend). Very comfortable bed and finishing touches like the home made shortbread were appreciated. Stylist decor. However the best part of this stay is the scene, waking up to a beautiful sunrise ( keep the curtains open) or sitting on the balcony enjoying the bay and sea waves. Very quiet considering how close to the road this property is. Thoroughly recommend staying here

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The accommodations and property were impeccable and the view of the bay - breathtaking. Julie met us when we arrived and made us feel welcome and comfortable. from the start. Stunning views from our room. Perfect spot to see the sunrise should you be inclined. Situated between main road and the township on top of the hill,close walk to town and surprisingly quiet, no road noise. Julie and Kerry are lovely hosts, room was spacious, classically modern and clean. Highly recommend.
