I know you get what you pay for, but I don’t feel I got enough for what I paid for.
This is an unmanned hotel. Staying for one night might do but DO NOT stay more than that. They don’t provide fresh towels for the second day. We were supposed to use the towels sparingly or wash them ourselves. (There’s a small washer in the room, but no dryer. And no instructions) And it was not instructed when we checked in. They told us to wash the towels when we asked where we could get fresh towels.
And the communication is the hell! They only speak Japanese. Communication in other languages needs to be written (via email) so they can (probably) run it through the translation app. Then when they respond they do it in Japanese! We checked in on Friday evening, and WiFi didn’t work. When we contacted them (for over an hour), they said it would be probably because it was Friday and many people checked in so just wait because they couldn’t do anything. The next day it was still not working. They said they would do the inspection, which didn’t work. But It was the last night staying there, so we simply gave up. To reach this point, we had to have multiple calls and messages running Google Translate.
I had stayed in unmanned hotels before but I had stayed only one night and there hadn’t been any particular issues to contact the staff so I never expected this hassle and inconvenience.
I am never going back to this hotel. 😡
