We stayed for 3 nights in a Superior Comfy Queen room, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing overall. From the start, there were multiple issues in the room—the TV didn’t work on the first night, the bathroom sink was cracked, and the cup provided was dirty and clearly hadn’t been replaced after the previous guest.
On the first night, our TV didn’t work. A lovely receptionist came up and tried to fix it but wasn’t able to, and advised that maintenance would need to look at it the following day. The next morning, the curtain rail then fell down. We reported this to staff and it was fixed, however drill dust was left all over the room afterwards. We raised this again with reception and were told the room would receive a deep clean the next day—but this never happened.
Due to a late flight, we paid extra to use a Micro Double room for an additional night. Ironically, the bed in this room felt bigger than the queen we had originally booked.
The overall cleanliness of the hotel really let it down for us. As shown in the photos, there was a thick layer of dust on the bed area, suggesting the room hadn’t been properly cleaned for quite some time.
The only positives were the comfortable beds and the friendly staff, who did try to help where they could. However, due to the repeated issues and lack of cleanliness, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would advise others to look elsewhere. I wish I had listened to the reviews before I booked.
