We had a fantastic stay at The Limes, friendly staff, the room was lovely, big comfy bed, super clean, and the fridge/microwave/kitchenette was really handy. Great value for money, and easily walkable into town, will be top of our list for returning to York in future.

This was a lovely guest house, very comfy bed with luxury bedding. A nice coffee machine in room with americano pods and border biscuits. Shower very nice. I can't think of a negative. Bus stop across rd to get to city centre. If you use carpark it is £15 for 24 hrs. I will definitely return.

Great locarion, aldi close by, lovely cafe hallo mallow is a short walk awy, keep going from there on to the Wellington which is a great pub. City is about 30 minute straight foward walk . Propert was well equipped. Requested and was given ground floor room. Lovely room. So happy with it, immediately booked another night. You pay extra for parking but worthwhile. Ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and comfortable bed. Friendly personnel and easy to find. Can't wait to stay here again

We stayed in the Classic Suite, En-suite and it was very clean and modern. The location is walking distance to the city centre with nearby shops around the property. There’s parking within the property which is £15 a night but there’s plenty of free street parking. Would definitely return back here in the future :)

Beautifully decorated rooms, powerful shower, coffee pod machine with Costa coffee, location to town centre is great. Staff were brilliant dealt with requests promptly, I would highly recommend this guest house.

The room is great, just, not really close to city center. Just, it does not matter that much if you have travel companion(s).

8/10 Muy buena

Ideally located on a fairly busy main street, still quiet though, clean room, nice walled garden, only minor issue was lack of drawer space and the bin was too small for a longer stay, nice mini kitchen too, be aware internet can be intermittent. All in all a pleasant place to stay and I would certainly return.

This room was a real gem. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed including a full sized fridge and recentlly refurbished to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent; close to the river to walk into town or a bus stop outside Aldi with a regular bus service. We were also able to park for free in the adjacent road although there is also a pay car park onsite. I would highly recommend.

Very helpful manager, she kindly upgraded us and made a wonderful effort for our 10 year anniversary. Clean and comfortable room, set in an idyllic location. All in all a great stay. Nothing could be done about the parking situ, I advise to get there early for a space. We would happily return.
