Felt abandoned. Tired room, no milk to make a drink. Feels uncared for as a business. Shame good location & could have charm. Expensive for quality of stay.

Not impressed at all with this hotel the room was not clean as you would expect and the bathroom was discusting mold everywhere including the shower head. It was stated that there would be a Samsung tv to watch freeview but it didn’t work and was a very old pc monitor looking tv so we couldn’t watch anything. Towels were dirty asked for new ones twice but they never came. Toilet kept running intermittently showed the staff but it stopped as they came in then started again so nothing was done. The bed was extremely uncomfortable we both had bad backs after the first night. No dressing table with a mirror to be able to get ready to go out and us ladies know the importance of that. Just the basic things that are simple to rectify but no effort was made to change it. The shower I was cleaner before I got on it the shower gel bottle was broken and sat on the floor. I will not be going back stick to the ones we know are good.

Room was clean and large enough fit all 5 of us (2 adults + 3 children). The children were on fold out sofa beds and there was a separate double room for the adults. The bed was super comfortable and we slept pretty well. The addition of a small kitchen area in the lounge with a microwave, coffee machine, sink and plates were really useful both for the baby and eating our Chinese take away. The only thing I would change about the property was the temperature of the room. The addition of air conditioning or the ability to open the double doors off the main bedroom would have been a massive plus.

Good all around. Would have been excellent, but for one little thing, quality of liquid soap. It was atrocious. Guys, decent soap is not expensive, please change. Everything else was great, staff most helpful.

Very clean and tidy. Obviously newly refurnished and very nicely done so. Helpful staff and I was surprised by the amount of amenities (fridge, microwave, TV). Very close to the University and a short walk into town, as well as very close to a bus stop that goes directly to and from the train station. Overall, it was great and very convenient, thank you.

Room was basic and clean. Communication was very good. However, reviews are out of date as they mentioned a breakfast and there is none available since change of ownership which was disappointing and inconvenient for us.

The room was clean but very tired looking. The mattress was not supportive. Couldn't get hot water from the tap in the room sink. Shower temperature was scalding and took ages to settle to a manageable temperature. Bedside lamp had a PAT test sticker dated 2022. Convenient, good value for money. It’s not a B&B and we never saw any discount vouchers for food locally which were promised. The staff were ok, it was a bit weird not having someone there at all times but over all the stay was pleasant.
