The staff were awesome and the food was incredible. The pub and room was clean, well furnished and in a great location. Will stay again.

We were a bit disappointed overall with our stay. The room was comfortable but the shower room smelt very musty and there was black mould on the walls. The food in the restaurant was reasonable as was the cooked breakfast. For a pub owned by a brewery I was a bit surprised that that the bar staff had to check with the manager whether they could replace a pint of ale that was cloudy without charging me again. Fullers beer is usually good but I was served two pints of cloudy beer, I would have expected that they had been replaced without question.

Lovely traditional pub with comfortable accommodation. We a a room in the stable block. Comfy bed and good shower. We found the room a bit dark, would have liked some brighter lighting as an option. Breakfast was very tasty. Staff considerate and friendly. I would recommend. I only booked as I got a discount, it is a little pricey for what you get.

Great room which was large in size. Food was amazing - we had dinner and breakfasts. Staff were friendly and obliging. Would definitely recommend.

The pub is located in a picturesque village (even though it's only a short distance from a major MOD site.) We were made very welcome, and all of the facilities were great. Our room was just what we needed, breakfast was very nice and well presented, and the room was comfortable. The only issue would be if you had limited mobility as there were narrow stairs in the old building. However, there were some accessible rooms in a separate building.

Really friendly and relaxed staff, attentive but never hovered. Great decor, great food. Worth a stay, dinner or just a pint.
