I recently stayed at Tayfin Royale Hotel for six nights with my family, and unfortunately the experience fell far short of what you would expect from a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star establishment.
One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the advertised fitness centre. On arrival, I discovered that the gym was not actually available. Instead, there is a small outdoor exercise area with no treadmill, which was an important requirement for me. This outdoor gym is impractical to use, especially on cold winter mornings.
The in-room entertainment was equally disappointing. The TV system offered no television channels and could only be used if guests logged into their own streaming service accounts. This is a poor substitute for a hotel TV service.
Things became even worse during our stay when the hotel ran out of hot water. There was only enough hot water for two people to shower before it turned cold. On our final day, there was no water supply at all.
While the staff listened to our complaints, they made little effort to resolve any of these issues. Throughout our stay, they came across unhelpful with no meaningful attempt to address the problems we experienced.
Overall, this hotel did not deliver the standard or service expected of a 5-star property. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting the quality and service associated with a genuine 5-star experience.
