Outstanding.

Easily one of the best 'Pub/Inn' style experiences I've ever had. From the second you walk in, you realise The George is just 'better than'. The detail in the rooms, the quality of literally everything is as good as the best hotels I've stayed in around the world. Outstanding. The staff were attentive, but not too much so, and incredibly friendly.

This booking was a complete fiasco DO NOT BOOK this hotel via Expedia. I booked it, received a confirmation and my credit card was charged. When I arrived at the George Hotel I was told they DO NOT accept reservations via Expedia and was advised to seek alternative accommodation elsewhere. Highly embarrassing, and very stressful due to the remove location. I am 71 years of age and was left without accommodation on a freezing January evening. This hotel should be REMOVED from the portfolio as it is a regular occurrence. To summarise ..... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING 😡
