This stay exceeded all my expectations, if you’re reading these reviews trying to decide wether to choose Akara Villas. Don’t hesitate, book now. Every part of our stay was perfect, great location, exceptional customer service, fabulous ammenities. The location is central within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping and clubs. The staff go above and beyond to cater to anything and everything, from breakfast each morning to your washing and turn down services. Even the bed and pillows were amazing. I would not hesitate to book again, and I will be returning.

Very disappointed

The property was lovely and staff were friendly however all this was ruined by the renovations on the villa next door ( we were in villa 1). We came especially to this property to relax and get away from all hardships with we have had this year. I had to complain every day, 24/25 Dec included about the hammering and drilling and promised by the staff it would cease every day , while trying to enjoy the lovely private pool. We were not prewarned about the renovations and had not booked if told. We are hugely disappointed as this is a lovely property that we did not get to enjoy and a ruined Xmas holiday

Fantastic!

This villa was lovely. Spacious and clean with a touch of luxury. All the rooms were beautifully appointed. Staff were wonderfull and our butler Putu was amazing. Shops and restaurants close by and only a 10 minute walk from Seminyak square. If staff were available they were happy to drive you to locations within close proximity. Breakfast was always good. Pool was large and clean although a little cool. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Well maintained villa in the heart of Seminyak.

The villa is well maintained and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and walkable distance to many hotspots within Seminyak. Only slight downside was there were many mosquitoes. But I guess it's pretty common amongst villas in Bali and incense and repellents can't really keep them away. Otherwise, it was a really awesome stay.

Big beautiful villa close to everything!

We stayed at Akara Villas with friends and there was plenty of room for our two families - (4 adults and 2 children). The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. Having a security guard on the gate and having to walk past reception made us feel safe that no one who wasn't staying there could get in. The villa is like home from home and we felt very relaxed whilst we were there, lounging round the pool. We stayed in July and the pool felt a little chilly, but once you were in it was fine. The house was big enough for all us all to have our own space - and the upstairs balcony was great especially for the kids to have their own space from around the pool and decking area. The breakfast was very tasty with a large choice and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We loved that they washed our clothes that were put in the wash bin and we also loved that they would take us to anywhere in Seminyak, rather than us having to walk or get a taxi. It was quite expensive to stay here, but as we split the cost with friends, we ended up with a lot of villa for our money, compared to staying at two smaller separate villas. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at Akara Villas and as there are about 6 or 8 villas in the complex you can easily stay with more friends.
