No ID needed for the check in, nor any credit card. Room had no TV, no towels, no toilet paper, had not been cleaned for at least a month, dried blood on the underside of the toilet set! I called Hotels.com immediately & they were very helpful getting me into a new hotel. I did not feel safe for myself or my car in the Thunderbird lot.

I never stayed here. They transferred me to their other motel, the Deluxe Inn. Sam who runs the place was excellent and very accommodating. I had a great sleep.

Missing shower head. No towels or wash cloths entire stay. Had to request multiple times on different days and still no service provided. Bed have no covers. Just sheets. No TV. No Microwave which was supposed to be provided as part of my booking. You can hear everything and it’s like people out there doesn’t sleep at night nor have respect for their neighbors.

Outside, the property was aged and worn. The sign was torn. No one was at the desk when I entered. A polite young lady in the foyer let me know that "He was in the back and probably sleeping". I might need to come back later. Someone else who followed me in turned around and walked out. Expedia tried to get me a refund and was unable to contact them. Ironic... Don't waste your time or money.

When I arrived at the Thunderbird Motel, they told me there were no available rooms despite the fact that I had already been charged for my reservation. I was then redirected to different motel down the road where I was told I would be given a room. I truly don't know how to describe how disgusting the room was. I messaged the Thunderbird in online with no reply and when I called no one answered. You'd be better off staying in a homeless shelter.

The rooms ARE NOT AT ALL like the pictures on the website!! Our first (& last) morning there a random man came to our room & asked for our key so he can work on the floors. I asked the man at the front desk if he was aware this was happening, & he replied “yes”. We were given NO warning or info about it upon check-in. And the toilet seat was broken so you couldn’t actually sit in it without falling in the toilet or off of it. The room looked like it had been through a hurricane & just left to rot. The doors, tops & bottoms had severe water damage, as well as all the flooring & sink. It is actually a long-term stay hotel in Savannah. NOT a short stay. Don’t. Ever. Stay. Here. I have photos I can post if allowed.

The place was filthy! Ac didn’t work in one room so they moved me and then that room was so dirty, the toilet didn’t work so if I had to use the bathroom I had to go to another room to use it!! It was absolutely terrible

Door didn’t lock or shut properly. I told the front desk he said “no one will walk in” Dirty room with dirty feminine hygiene products laying around. Dirty tampons. An open bottle of vagisil and a used bar of soap in shower. Shower was covered with duct tape. Bad smell. I left. I want a refund.

now i no what its like to be in a third world country. Disgusting, in disrepair, the covers had holes on them, mildew everywhere, filth on the television. I ended up using my own sheet and pillows. Also, had to wear sandals in the shower.

THIS IS NOT THE THUNDERBIRD INN. This is a listing for the Thunderbird MOTEL, a much worse place. We arrived on the day of our reservation and they’d booked our room to someone else. So they sent us across the street to another property they own, the Deluxe Inn. Everyone was rude, the property felt unsafe, people were screaming in the doorway of a room, cars were jacked up in the parking lots. Inside the room was gross, the lights didn’t work, the light switches didn’t have covers over them, the sheets had holes burned into them, the table under the TV was cracked in half, and the fire alarm was not on the wall but in a drawer. 0/10, just don’t do it. We left immediately.

I was slightly hesitant to say anything but I'm going to make just as much noise as all the riff raff that was located at this freakin mess of a motel did to me all weekend. For some reason, I thought this was the place I stayed at years ago because I looked at the property pictures. Upon pulling up I realized how big of a mistake I made picking this place. The room was still dirty when I walked in, the floor had crumbs and spill stains all over, the wall looked like kids were putting there dirty feet all over and the bathroom toilet was full of ashes and dirt. I told the front desk guy and he told 'housekeeping' to go back and clean. Little did anyone notice that I did some recon work and that supposed 'housekeeper' opened the door, holding a roll of paper towels and not even 3 seconds later comes out and shuts the door. When I walked in, it was obvious he did absolutely nothing. After I ended up cleaning to a bearable level, it wouldn't have been as bad if guys selling drugs weren't planting themselves in front of my room door all night..talking and laughing. Then when not 1 but 4 roaches made their presence known on day 1.5 that is when I made the decision to come home. I've stayed at trashier places that didn't have roaches or drug dealers in front like this place. I'm sorry for some of those folks who seem to be living there but something has to change. This place is unacceptable! I need a partial refund especially since I left a day early.

Shocking. The place is advertising under a wrong name (Thunderbird Inn is a different location in town, this place is Thunderbird Motel). The photos don't match the rooms given and the descriptions of the rooms don't match either. On checking in I was given a key to a room with someone else staying. Tried again, got given a key to a room which was far from what was booked. Showed my booking description to the desk attendant, and he sent me to a room which hadn't been cleaned at all. Fourth attempt got another room which was still disgusting, light fittings coming off the wll, unclean bedding, curtains with holes burnt into them and taped together to keep closed. It's a drug den and I felt very unsafe. Informed the staff, who refuse to provide a refund for their false advertising.

This motel is disgusting. Do NOT stay here. Spend an extra $20 a night to stay anywhere else. Here's why: - room smells like smoke - room is filthy and looks like is hasn't been cleaned in months - sheets are stained - room didn't have towels and when towels were requested, staff didn't deliver them - bathtub is filthy and has a tape patch job over a rupture in the plastic - A/C works poorly - long-term tenants don't seem to respect quiet hours late at night - overall, this site is sketchy: it's filthy and doesn't feel safe.
