Not pleased

We reserved a nonsmoking room and they put us in a smoking room. Thankfully they switched us the next day. Our new room was comfortable but there was mold in the bathroom and noticeable water damage throughout the room. Beautiful property and affordable prices but I will not stay there again. The staff was pleasant other than the young gentleman at the front desk.

Great hotel for the area

Best location and value for the area. Nautical themed lobby and friendly staff who are genuinely concerned for your stay.
William, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff was friendly. It was becoming a pain going up and down the stairs. Since there is not an elevator. The hotel was old but clean. The faucet had a leak and the toilet lid slid sideways when you sat on it. The area around the hotel was beautiful.

Everything was great, friendly helpful staff, everyone masked up and taking COVID seriously, good breakfast

horrible experience

Was charged $150 for having a pet although I thought I was staying in a pet friendly room. Room stunk and beds were horrible. Management unhelpful and smug!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. Overall everything was positive. Room was clean, and staff very friendly and accommodating. One word of caution, this is a two story property and there is no elevator. We had been given a room on the second floor and my wife has a disability that makes it difficult for her to climb stairs. We informed the front desk and they relocated us to a ground floor room. The restaurant was good. Only negative experience was that the complimentary breakfast was pre-packaged danishes. We were told this was due to a call off from one of their kitchen staff. Still, given the value for the price, we will stay here again.

Very Clean Room

Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, none of the restaurants, and many of the other amenities were not available.

Clean, comfortable hotel in good repair. Convenient location, spacious room. We have stayed here before, and will stay here again.

The only thing wrong was no elevator and we had a lot of bags. Beyond that it was excellent. Would stay there any day and be pleased

Hidden Gem

Some of the best dinners cooked here. That alone is worth the stay. Great atmosphere and friendly staff just top everything off.

Debbie, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Attack of the knats

There were gnats in the room. Live ones were annoying, but the dead ones were everywhere.....even in the bedding , even between the sheets. The front desk staff were very nice, but unable to help my disabled mother to get her TV working as the staff that handled such issues had already left for the day. My daughter and her fiance, who are vegan, ask about some ingredients in the free breakfast buffet..... The staff member was unwilling to check the packaging to see if there were dairy products in the biscuits. My family has stayed at this hotel on Labor Day weekend for many years, as there is a family reunion near there. I am not sure that we will be going again. It is 3.5 hour drive from home to get there and another 3.5 drive back home. This was the worst experience we have ever had in all the years we have stayed at this establishment.

Yuck

The breakfast was totally disgusting, cold, and not fit to eat. The staff rude and not very friendly. Will not give this place a good rating at all and will not recommend it to anyone.
