Views beautiful, mice are a problem
The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the lake and the view is amazing.
The space has been renovated in the last 5 years or thereabouts so it looks modern and is comfortable.
Unfortunatly there were two bothersome issues: 1) the countertops weren't properly washed and there was wetness and dirt under the condiment tray.
2) we had mice in our unit so on my second night, I chose to sleep in my car in the parking lot.
I had recieved a text from the hotel that communicated some info, which was a nice touch. When i texted a note to let thwm know, a reply came thay it was after hours and provided a number to call for emergencies. I expected a call or text in the morning but nothing came. Upon checkout, i was not asked about my stay so made the assumption no one cared.
They must know as there are mouse bait boxes in the cupboards in the units. U fortunately our mice liked blueberries and cupcakes more.
