The standout features of The Florentine Waterfront Hotel are absolutely the warm, attentive staff and the stunning view. From the moment we booked, Katie went above and beyond with communication, making the experience feel personal and welcoming—something you don’t always get at larger hotels.
If you're planning a trip to Dune City, this is a great spot to stop. They even have a partnership with a local ATV rental company that offers a discount, so be sure to ask about that before booking on your own.
We stayed in the Vanilla Villa, and the view was spectacular—truly a highlight of our stay. The room came with a full kitchen, which is a great perk if you’re looking to save money and cook your own meals. While my husband found the room a bit stuffy, we were both impressed with how clean and well-kept everything was.
The vibe leans more toward glamping/cabin than a traditional hotel, so it helps to go in with that expectation. All in all, it was one of the better places we stayed on our West Coast road trip. It’s clear that this family-owned hotel genuinely cares about its guests.
