Excellent hotel

Lovely hotel, a short walk to the picturesque Rubicon Marina and lovely restaurants and shops. Staff very friendly and the apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped.

Lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment. Excellent location. Lovely pool area. One thing I’d say is it would be good if bar area were open until 6pm, not only to 5pm.

Hotel confortevole ma che ha margini di miglioramento attraverso alcuni lavori di manutenzione. Buono per le famiglie con figli piccoli. WiFi solo alla reception è un limite; consigliabile anche negli appartamenti e gratis (non a pagamento) Distante un Km abbondante sia dalla spiaggia più vicina che dalle attrazioni/movida. La località di Costa Blanca è bella e funzionale per muoversi verso altri siti: ad esempio la bellissima Play del Papagayo raggiungibile con auto (attraverso strada bianca).

Brilliant stay

Had a fantastic time. The room was fairly basic but regularly cleaned and we had a great view of the pool. Did not try the food, but with so many great restaurants nearby we were glad we did not go all inclusive. For the price the hotel was amazing. Easily as good as ones twice the price. I also recommend walking along the front to the restaurants. In particular the Camel restaurant deserves a mention. The food is is well priced and the fillet steak was one of the best I have had anywhere in the world.

It was ok for a short break

We had a nice short break and think the hotel was worth what we paid. This was probably down to us getting a pool view balcony room, of which here are only 26 in the whole hotel. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel as per he “official” rating and not convinced it’s a 3 star either. The fixtures and fittings are very tired, crockery chipped, bed covers stained, number rubbed off induction hob so you’ve no idea if it’s on high/low/not on at all etc, and facilities limited ie no oven in the room, only tiny tea cups no coffee mugs, only 2 glasses but 4 of everything else, no plugs for the kitchen or bathroom sinks. The rooms were only cleaned every other day which wasn’t a problem cleaning wise, but would have liked fresh towels daily. Some staff were friendly, some weren’t, but no one was rude which is good. The pool was big and there were more than enough sun beds but we did travel in May and not in school holidays.

Rubimar Suites Winter Sun.

Self catering, so didn`t use bar/ restaurant. Best facility for us was indoor heated pool. Outdoor pool cold but pool area great. Plenty sun beds,lifeguard on duty. Location right on marina. Pleasant half hour walk into Playa Blanca.Very good Supermarket and coffee shop 100 metres away. Not handy for either resort bus or,other destinations on island. Would recommend Rubimar for a relaxing winter week.

Location is brilliant...you have the Rubicon Marian has everything you need...good restaurant...bars...and shops...but the apartments are a very tired and need a refurb ...the pool area is very good and well looked after...

Last minute booking!

We booked this hotel whilst in playa blanca, on the whole very pleased with the hotel. Good location, right by the marine. Friendly staff, very family friendly. Clean pool. Rooms were clean, but need some updating. An issue with the freezer but was fixed. The restaurant was a bit bland, had room for improvements. Had such a lovely stay and with a few updates and refreshing to the hotel we would definitely return.

Excellent well situated hotel

Very impressed with this well situated hotel. Our apartment was enormous, and very clean and comfortable. The pool was a very good size and warm too. Situated directly next to the marina, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed fully inclusive and the food was excellent, plenty of choice at all meal times. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, making this a great family choice.

Such a fab location. A really relaxing spot. Stone throw from the shops and restaurants. Upmarket location. Highly recommend it.

Bien placé et bonnes prestations

1 nuit car je changeais d'hotel chaque soir. Hotel situé dans une des 3 stations balnéaires de l'ile, avec de bons restaurants en front de mer et une petite plage pas très loin parfaite pour se baigner. Bien placé pour rayonner en voiture dans la partie sud de l'ile (découvrir le parc des volcans, la route des vins, la dégustation dans les bodégas). La plage de sable noir et très sauvage pas urbanisée (par chance) de Quemanda n'est qu'à quelques kms ainsi que le point de vue sur la lagune verte à El Golfo. Piscine chauffée bien appréciable en cas de vue + très jolie et grande piscine extérieure.

Aparthotel guter Lage, etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Gute Lage (Nähe Marina), Anlage OK, Apartments auch (schon etwas abgewohnt), einfache Ausstattung, schlechtes Licht (Buch lesen fast nicht möglich), teures W-Lan, was nich oder schlech funktioniert. Fitness- und Sporberich nicht einladend und ungepflegt. Personal durcgehend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gastronomie kann ncht beurteilt werden, da nicht n Anspruch genommen. Es gibt sehr viele (gute) Cafes und Restaurants in yplaya Blanca

Nice hotel close to Playa Blanca.

The staff were lovely. One of the cleaners even made a little elephant out of flannels for our little boy which was a lovely touch! the hotel was close to the beach. The food was lovely. The building needs a little work but it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant hotel with reasonable access

The hotel catered for our needs we did not make full use of the amenities as we had limited time at the resort. The only thing that was annoying was the fact that even though we had a flyer put through the door access to the sun beds was impossible as towels were placed and left with them left vacant for hours while people left the hotel and did shopping sight seeing etc..We usually managed to get one about 5 o clock in the late afternoon.
