This is a beautiful property.
That said, the listing was misleading regarding several advertised amenities. One of the primary reasons we selected this property was the advertised beach access. While there is direct access to the cliffside views, there is no actual direct access to the beach below. Guests must walk a considerable distance off-property to find a safe path down to the shoreline.
Additionally, the listing photos strongly suggested the unit included a kitchen or at least some type of food preparation and refrigeration area. Upon arrival, we discovered there was no kitchen and not even a mini refrigerator available. We were also informed at check-in that the rooftop pool was under maintenance and unavailable during our stay.
When we asked about the kitchen shown in the listing photos, we were told it belonged to a separate listing. We reasonably assumed it was a shared amenity, as many properties advertise common spaces this way.
Unfortunately, this was more than a convenience issue. My wife recently underwent surgery and has strict dietary and medication storage requirements. Access to refrigeration was a major factor in choosing this property. Instead, we spent much of our stay searching for ice to keep medications and supplements at a safe temperature. No small task on an island without 24 hour stores.
The property itself is lovely but the listing should more accurately reflect the amenities actually available so guests can make informed decisions.
