Perfect medium size cabin fit for a family of 4-6! It was very clean, neat and conveniently located near Dollywood, Parrot Mountain, and all the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg attractions while being tucked back in a private, quiet area on the mountain.

The property was very nice. The only thing I found that needed updating or repair was the downstairs bathroom tub fixtures…they leak and the stopper in the tub doesn’t fit properly (the water leaks out when the stopper is engaged). Other than that, the property was great!

Great place. House was very clean. Snowstorm came during our visit. House could use a new snow shovel and salt for the ice that came from the storm. On/off dial for lighting the fireplace should be replaced due to bad spring, we found a way to get it on. First floor of the house was very cold at the floor, especially the bathroom. Vents sending out cold air(most likely due to outside conditions). Overall great place to get away.

Saving Grace!

You absolutely saved our family vacation! Our original booking had a problem with its well and left us high and dry. We found Bear Hideaway online and were able to get it booked the same day! Excellent communication from the host who was very attentive. Added bonus - we could sit in the hot tub and see the Dollywood fireworks through the trees each evening around 9:30!

I plan on staying here again (& bringing some family this time to use all the space). This cabin was super cute & cozy. It was very clean. The PacMan game was fun & challenging. There was also an air hockey game (but we didn't play it). The couches were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious & come with complementary toiletries if needed. The kitchen was clean. It does have a Keurig. I didn't know that based on the items listed so I wanted to share for others. It would have made a difference for us when packing our coffee to bring with us. The rooms had good space for luggage and still room to walk around. The area was peaceful but the roads & parking area are STEEP. We didn't use the hot tub. SUGGESTIONS (not cons by any means) Kitchen: coffee filters (maybe add some for each stay, not a whole pack so they don't go missing) Bathroom: Tissues (most people don't travel with them & don't want to buy a whole box for a few days stay) They are better than toilet paper. Living room: Foot rests. The couches are comfortable but most people have recliners at home & love to put their feet up when relaxing. Downstairs bedroom: Maybe consider replacing the mattress soon. It sagged in the middle so we would roll to the middle in the night. Again, these are just suggestions. I loved the place and plan to go back.
