This hotel had some lovely highlights, but it also missed the mark in a few key areas.
First, let’s talk about the good stuff. The staff were absolutely lovely—warm, accommodating, and always ready to help. Upon arrival, we were treated to an incredible cheesecake and green tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. Evenings were made special with roasted marshmallows by the fire, a charming and cosy experience that we really enjoyed. Plus, the hotel offers free parking, which is always a win.
Breakfast was a full Japanese spread, beautifully presented and delicious—a definite highlight. That said, it felt a bit repetitive, and I don’t think I’d enjoy having the same meal every day.
On the downside, the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and overall, the experience didn’t feel quite up to the standard I’d hoped for. While there were definitely memorable moments, I don’t think I’d choose to stay here again.
It’s a hotel with potential and some great perks, but for me, it didn’t quite tick all the boxes.
