Check-in was easy, the apartment was smaller than I expected, but it was hard to tell from the photos to be fair. The location of the bed (raised above the sofa and accessed by a very narrow and oddly shaped staircase) was less convenient than I might have imagined. I’m very agile, but I felt I had to be very careful when getting out of bed (esp. in the middle of the night to go to the loo). The apartment was well equipped with storage space, a table, a fan (much appreciated as opening windows was not really possible & it was very hot and stuffy when I arrived). Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible to use the fan while sleeping except to create white noise … no room for the fan on bed level. The kitchen area was very well equipped and although I didn’t use the common kitchen, with full stove, I found this a good addition. I used the washing machine and drying rack in the room. All a plus. Excellent location for doing what I wanted to in London. Unfortunately, I have 2 major complaints: 1. This was listed as a patio apartment which meant to me (and was suggested by accompanying photos) that there was outdoor space; this was not the case. 2. My room was on the ground floor by the front door. The room was very badly insulated from noise in the corridor and the other rooms. Every time someone closed the front door I felt it was slamming in my apartment. I slept VERY poorly as a result, and also due to noise from neighbors who seemed to be up and about all night long.
