I was given a room where the heating didn’t work and also the phone didn’t work to tell the staff. I felt poorly and this was the last thing I needed particularly when my room was the furthest it could be from the reception.
I got moved rooms where not only did the heating not work again but it was on full blast cold so was noisy too. I was too poorly to change rooms again so I put earplugs in and got in bed. When I got up the next morning to leave, the door had been ajar all night because it doesn’t shut properly unless you push it very hard. Great!
I told the receptionist Rachel the next day and she was lovely about it and said to get in touch with hotels.com to get a refund. However the hotel are refusing to give any compensation at all.
I would give no stars for this hotel stay if I could.
