I gave this property 3-stars because of the of the construction noise that started at 6 PM and continued until 9:00 PM. It continued for two days of my stay. While it was not the hotel but the owner just below in the same building was quite disturbing and extremely annoying. Especially because concrete demo and grinding was in the open loft area outside guest room and configuration lend itself to echoes making it even worst. To the property manager credit he did respond immediately to my complaints and the first time it did not cease until hours later. The second time it stopped much quicker. Be aware that there are others people operating a business and living in the same building that can affect guests p

Like a lot of the hotels this place does not look like much from outside but is beautiful inside. Has wonderful common areas and full shared kitchen. This is located in centro which predominantly local authentic culture. Centro is cited as more affordable. It is busy and very few non-local (Mexican) eatery options. Very busy and classic Mexican style city type living. Mercado close, tacos plentiful, and OXXO (convenience store) literally next door. Closest beach with short walking distance is Playa Principle; swimming, fishing, boating. Only complaint after booking thru Expedia is not getting the room I reserved, checkout hour 11 instead of 12 as confirm in Expedia reservation, and they tried to charge me a fee for credit card payment. When I refused they manually charged anyway afterwards which I will dispute. Be careful when booking as “NOT” all rooms have AC. Access is managed remotely. Yes, I would stay here again.
