All in all, this was a fine stay. We booked a room at this place and were redirected to a different building/house a block or so over. The room was quite different than the one we booked—much smaller. The place was clean, seemed safe, was easy to access, had some bread, milk, and pbj in the fridge along with a Keurig with tasty coffee, and some cereals. A grab and go more than a Bed & Breakfast as advertised, but we weren’t mad about it. Hit the spot. Bed and pillows were comfy.
Cons-guests were allowed to check in pretty late and were quite loud about it. Since parking directions were for the listed address and not the one we were sent to, parking was unclear. When I asked the host if a space we found at the end of the lane was guest parking (it wasn’t marked), he wrote back that he didn’t know and told me I could rent the garage for $20. The listening said we were only to park in the street, but the entire street had “No Parking” signs and tow-away zones. Didn’t understand how he didn’t know the parking situation for the house he sent us to or why we were sent somewhere we didn’t book in the first place.
