You get what you pay for.
I didn't really think about the fact that the cost of the stay was so cheap. There were some surprises. When i first walked in, i immediately saw the sign stating no pets. The information i saw when i looked up the motel stated pets not allowed. I was emphatic that online information stated that pets were allowed.The person who greeted me was of foreign decent, and his accent made it very difficult to understand. He called his supervisor and i was permitted to bring our dog.
Other unpleasantness was no carpet in the room, 2 bath towels
The window was poorly insulated so we ran the heater the entire time we were in the room. When we went next store to Olive Garden restaurant, a lady greeter told us that this motel is known to have drug sales and sex solicitation. We did not encounter any issues that made us feel unsafe though.
