An excellent stay

We were a family of 4 staying for 11 days in a one bedroom suite. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable (the beds were great), the kitchen was sufficient though we barely used it to cook as food was available relatively nearby and cheaply, and the bathroom was also generous in size. The shower strength was not great but that's a small thing to note. The wifi was not always reliable so if possible, get yourself a SIM card with data to use. The rest of the hotel facilities were nice. The swimming pool was of a decent size, the games room was a hit with the kids, and the included breakfast was very good (mostly Chinese offerings with a few limited other options such as cereal). The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I can manage some Chinese so we never tried to communicate in English - I'm not sure how fluent they are in English. They helped us to arrange a taxi for a day trip one day and even arranged a lovely bag of goodies for my son whose birthday occurred during our stay. It is walkable to Tianfu Square and the closest metro station was about a 5-10 minute walk away. The coffee shop next door was very good (but expensive compared to other establishments) and there is a 7 Eleven on the other side of the coffee shop. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.
