Updated retro style, veterans owned Mom and Pop motel. Clean room, very basic. Friendly staff. Breakfast available but not many choices. No issues with parking. Ok lighting, felt safe. Prices were high considering the amenities. I suppose that could be due to the fall season

Decent enough and probably the cheapest place in Blue Ridge. They've redone the rooms but it is an older property so the age always shows. If you just need a place to sleep overnight, or maybe two nights, this place is fine

This was a very over priced hotel. And to top it off they charged an additional $24.24 (8%) online reservation fee!! Efforts were made at remodeling but poorly executed. Breakfast was decent, not great. Drains were extremely sluggish especially in the tub where there was 4” of standing water while showering. This was rectified after management was notified. Needless to say, I definitely don’t recommend this place and won’t be staying there in the future. 😩

Check-in was probably the best part -- very friendly desk clerk! The rooms were ample size, the bathrooms were large. Parking was spacious/safe, location was handy right along the Appalachian HWY. Price was reasonable. The shower didn't have much water pressure and the A/C ran constantly, although it did keep the room comfortable.

No one to check us in at the front desk. Had to be checked in over the phone. I can see why she didn’t want to stay there. Got checked in over the phone and got a pass code for the door. Opened the door and turned on the lights and the roaches went everywhere. There was even a large cricket on the floor. With that I turned the light off and left the room. I would never recommend this place.

We made a quick short trip to blue ridge with our dog. This hotel was the BEST!! From a friendly welcome, nice room, beautiful area out back for our dog and a fire pit to sit at, a happy hour (Thurs-Sun 4-7) and a nice warm breakfast! We will definitely be coming back!

We have river view from balcony and it is beautiful. Room is clean. And location is close proximity and super convenient to nearby restaurants, cafes, diners across the street, up and down the road. Our room is a little bit out dated but the river view makes up for it. We're enjoying ourselves and give this place a positive review. It's exactly the vibe and pace we needed 👍
