This spectacular stone building is just a couple of kilometers from the southernmost tip of Africa. Excellent sea views, very comfortable rooms. We stayed here for one night on our way back to Cape Town from a Garden Route roadtrip. It’s a small detour, but well worth it. From here, it’s a 2-2.5 hours drive to Cape Town airport. Beautiful and quiet surroundings – the whole area has a nice, laidback feel to it.
Personal and hassle-free reception and check-in. The lodge has a nice bar, resembling a british pub, on the first floor. There’s also a cigar room. They serve a white-linen, three course dinner which is great and good value. Just come hungry though, as portions are huge. Excellent wine selection as well. Highly recommended.
