We didn’t end up going to the Philippines in the end, having had our travel plans cancelled due to an earthquake in Cebu, and the damage caused by Typhoon Tino.
Yes, I understand that I booked a non-refundable room, but the hotel were extremely unhelpful when it came to having to cancel our entire trip.
No understanding, or support was offered- just happy to take our money.
They wouldn’t let us cancel the room as they said they wouldn’t be able to fill it again, despite our stay with them being a month away!
Overall, we booked this hotel as it looked beautiful and was a little out of the way of the main town, so we thought it would be quieter and more relaxing.
Due to circumstances that no one could have foreseen we were unable to visit, so I can’t pass judgement on the hotel. What I can pass judgement on is the incredible rudeness and I professionalism of the staff during communications.
Would not recommend solely on this.
