Positives: view is amazing. Gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows provide exceptional views of the CN Tower and city lights at night. Kitchen is also quite nice!
Negatives: NO PARKING AVAILABLE. Have to park in overnight public lots. They didn’t mention this until we asked. Every other hotel around had designated lots for guests. This was incredibly inconvenient and expensive.
THEY GIVE YOU THE WRONG ADDRESS. I think it’s on purpose. They claim the property is the same address as Nobu, a five-star luxurious hotel. It’s not. It’s the building next door. Confusing and misleading.
Also, at three in the morning the night before check-in, we received a text message with instructions. The whole experience was suspicious to say the least. We were required to alert them an hour and a half before we arrived. We were also charged a large security deposit… the highest I’ve ever seen a hotel request. It was an unreasonable amount to require after the room had already been paid for. Once we arrived, we were told not to ask the concierge for assistance if we needed it because “they would not help us” and that we weren’t allowed to park in the hotel lot. Not sure if this is a shady Airbnb situation or what, but it’s strange to tell hotel guests not to speak to the front desk.
Bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were of questionable cleanliness.
I did not receive proof of the security deposit refund upon checkout. Had to text them and request it two days later. Would not recommend this hotel.
