A perfect resting spot after a long day on the road. The food choices in the restaurant were a nice touch. The staff, from the check in experience to the servers in the restaurant were very polite and friendly. It's an older motel but it was clean, so we have no complaints.

This is a very old motel, with the basics, in a very remote location hundreds of miles from the next possible places to stay or stores. If you stay with the understanding your options (and those that live & work there) are limited in conveniences of a real town or city then you will be okay and it will add to the adventures of your journey on this frost heave riddled highway through a wild, open, vast & breath taking land.

It’s an old motel in a remote location on the highway with no other options nearby. Basics but no frills.

Nice and convenient place to lay our heads for the night. Plenty of parking with good food at connecting restaurant. It was fun watching the arctic ground sqirrels play around in front area and greet all who stopped by for gas, food, or spend the night. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.

It might be the saddest place we stayed in on our Al-Can trip. In fact, it might be the only choice on this particular stretch of highway. Has not been updated for decades. On the other hand, it does have everything you might need: motel, restaurant, gas, convenience store, and laundromat. The staff were certainly nice from check-in to servers at the restaurant. The bed was fine, and the shower was good. It is a basic “no frills” establishment.

Do yourself a favor and stay at Talbot Arm Hotel! The rooms are very clean, the restaurant served really good homemade food, and views of the mountains and Kluane Lake are amazing. This is definitely my favorite stop along the Alcan, and a much better price and ambiance than anything in Tok or other AlCAN stop. I would even come here as a basecamp and stay for a while to explore Kluane national park.

Don’t be fooled by the well worn appearance… decent food, clean and comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. Perfect place to rest in the middle of nowhere.

Thankful for a place to stay for the night however, the motel could use some major updates. The motel looks old, dated and falling apart. No pride in ownership. Major Updates would justify a price increase on the nightly room rates. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I gave it a 4 because considering there was no other choice to stay, it pretty much had everything we needed. The floor wasn't that clean and the heater/AC didn't work. It was too hot all night. We had to slam the door to get it to close. The pillows were flat. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. There was a restaurant on site and the food was fresh and good.

Very dated and not maintained very well at all. Reserved and paid for a double but when I got there, they only had queen available. No cable tv. Stains all over the bathroom floor and the room smelled like a wet dog. Polyester bedding and the sheets weren’t even white, very dingy grey.
