Stayed in the lodge at the bottom of the drive. Great location, clean and parking easy. Good breakfast although I would have liked fried eggs readily available. Always a nice place to stay and would certainly recommend!

Beautiful venue, friendly staff. But both nights I stayed, they had functions on. I've never heard music that loud - non-stop until midnight. Terrible night's sleep both nights, and that's ultimately what I am paying for.

Great spot for a short stay. Beautiful building. The rooms are fine, but could use a refresh, and more attention to detail in the cleaning.

Had a ground floor room in the Lodge which seemed like it had been unused for a while - very dusty and had a musty smell. Lovely staff and grounds, and plenty of free parking. Rooms well equipped with teas, coffees, towels, hair dryer, iron, mini toiletries etc.

Ok stay room was noisy due to thin walls ceilings , could hear room above talking and I’m sure they could us, Clean n tidy room Breakfast was adequate but on the website it states that Eggs Royale was available at breakfast , so we booked only to be told on the day it’s not! I assume the cook could not make the hollandaise as they had eggs and smoked salmon!! Really disappointing

Really nice one night stay. Parking was easy and the room was spacious. The only negative point was the fan in the room was not good enough for the size of room and the level of heat. The staff were excellent.

It wasn't made clear to us at the point of booking that we will be in a completely different building (The Lodge) so far from the main house. I feel we didn't manage to enjoy all the Manor had got to offer simply because we were so far away. We still enjoyed our visit but felt like second class citizens.

stayed in a junior suite , was a flawless and perfect stay , would definitely book again. Quiet location with helpful staff

The room was comfortable, the shower excellent, the staff were lovely (especially the receptionist). I do think that it should be made clear when booking that the lodge is a few minutes walk from the main hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay, we book for a 4am drive to Gatwick. The staff were lovely, no lift so don’t bring a heavy case (although one of the porters took it up the stairs for us). Sitting out in the grounds was beautiful. We had an evening meal, which was outstanding Traditional manor, no air con, fan in the rooms but that was enough for us.

The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional.
