It was very nice, but I thought a bit expensive for a small room with only one armchair. The only window was behind the headboard. I was able to open it, but could not open the shutters that covered it—really obstructed view. In the event of a fire, if the hallway had been full of smoke, the only way to get out of that window would have been to move the wooden queen-sized bed. I would never have chosen that room.
The house manager was lovely, and the breakfasts were good. It would have been nice to have access to ice and an ice bucket.
Actually, my fault. I should have called in the reservation myself rather than using Expedia. I don’t think I would stay there again.
