We did not look for shops so don't know if any nearby. The ac worked great! The bar tenders are very nice and personable, as well as the bell staff! They are so nice and love to talk! The check in and out staff were great as well. This is a new hotel 1 yr. old. It has all the amenities you would want. I highly recommend this hotel!
