We have stayed at a couple of places on the IOW and most of them, let’s face it, have seen better days. This place has been recently renovated to a high standard. We visited off season, but there were a few other people staying. A nice, cooked breakfast is included, and the chef is very accommodating. There is a small bar with a limited selection of drinks.
There are only 2 parking spots at the front of the hotel and a larger parking area at the rear. If parking at the rear, you have to negotiate some steps and a gravel pathway, so if you have suitcases it’s a good idea to drop them off at the front before parking.
Overall, a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff members.
