As a former hospitality employee, I can understand many things, and some expectations will and should change. Now, when common customer service, run down and extremely outdated equipment, decoration and furniture, cleanliness, and clogged sink… it doesn’t make sense.
Our first impression was that there was no parking available, even though it advertised it has. After half an hour of going in circles, I had to pay on a parking near by untethered next day. At check in, they told us that they had an event and it lasted until 8 pm, that after that, I could park…
Anyway, the lady got the room key, that was an actual key with an acrylic key holder that said the name of the hotel and the room number… not safe at all. Then she walked with us, and since my wife has issues going up and down on stairs, we asked her for an elevator. She wasn’t happy because we had to go around. Anyway, we were three and when we got to the elevator, she told me that I had to wait for the elevator because only 3 could fit in it… when I saw the elevator it has to be at least from the end of the 1960’s
