Perfect location for everything in Vico equense and 10 min walk to train station. Lovely basket of bread each morning although the rolls were a bit hard and crusty for us to chew. The host was so helpful with anything we asked. Let us use the electric bikes for free and stored our luggage for a few hours on the last day. The only thing we would change would be the hot tub. It had limescale in it and needed cleaning with fresh water. Beautiful apartment with sea view lovely balcony and cool glass ceiling. Only one neighbour next door x

This is a non payed review from a normal person and have you say Me and my family stayed here while on a 3 week trip in Europe and it was the best place out of the whole trip. The host is such a beautiful person and when above and beyond what I would think a normal host would do. The place was exactly as pictured and even better in person. I think this is the best place we stayed over a two week European vacation We stayed at six different places, and this was by far our favorite! Quaint street leading to the residence, the attention to details in the decorations, the abundant breakfast served, the balcony, the cleanliness… Too many things to say! The communication with Martina was very prompt and she was so accommodating. It was nice to stay in the quieter town of Vico Equense as opposed to Sorrento. Walked to the beach, swam, ate nearby at Franco’s and Tito’s! Delicious! Strolled through the town. Train was easy walk away! W would love to come back and do this all over again!! SO AMAZING!

Construction site beware

I recently stayed at La Lampara and was disappointed by several aspects of my experience. Upon arrival, we were met with a construction site adjacent to the property—a detail that was not disclosed beforehand. Although the room itself was clean and well-maintained, our mornings were far from peaceful, as we were awakened by loud banging and construction noise from 6 am to 11 am each day. This significantly affected our stay, and I believe the owner should have informed us of the ongoing construction in good faith. Additionally, the owner was out of town during our visit, which may have contributed to the lack of communication. On the day of checkout, the cleaner abruptly entered our room while I was getting dressed, demanding that we check out in a hurry. This encounter felt incredibly disrespectful and left a sour impression as we departed. While the property has potential, the lack of transparency and poor customer service left me dissatisfied. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.
