I don’t even know where to begin. This hotel was by far one of the dirtiest, most unkempt places I’ve ever stayed—and I travel frequently. The moment I walked into the room, I was hit with a foul, musty odor that made me question when the room was last cleaned. The floors were sticky, and there were visible stains on the carpet and bedding. I pulled back the sheets and found hair—not mine—and what looked like crumbs or dirt in the bed. Completely unacceptable.
The bathroom was just as bad. The toilet had not been cleaned properly, and there was mold growing in the shower tiles. The towels were stained and smelled like mildew, and the sink had toothpaste residue from the previous guest. I even found trash left in drawers and under the bed, which tells me the room wasn’t cleaned between guests.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed either overwhelmed or indifferent when I brought up my concerns. I asked for a different room, and the second one was barely better. At that point, I just laid my own towel over the bed and hoped to make it through the night.
This place should be inspected immediately, because no one should have to pay to sleep in filth. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Stay away unless you’re okay with sleeping in what felt like a forgotten, bacteria-filled time capsule.
