Not a 5-Star Experience
We stayed at Elite Erimou Suites and while there were some positives, it didn’t live up to its 5-star rating.
Pros:
Early check-in at 11 AM was appreciated after arriving early, and they allowed a late checkout at 11:30 AM so we could finish laundry.
Provided free laundry pods and two Nespresso pods.
Room was very clean, spacious, and had a partial Acropolis view (if you look out and turn your head).
Great central location, walkable to major attractions.
Gave us a second key when requested.
Cons:
The AC didn’t work at all, and the room was uncomfortably hot. We had to open windows, but street noise made it hard to sleep.
Only one key was provided initially, and it had to stay in a wall slot to power the room—so no way to cool it down while out.
The building exterior, lobby, and elevator felt like a run-down apartment complex. Only the 5th floor has hotel rooms; the rest appears residential.
Bottom line: The staff was helpful and the location is great, but the broken AC and misleading 5-star rating made for a disappointing stay. Wouldn’t book again unless improvements are made.
