I booked a bungalow thinking it had water views and (almost) direct access to the beach and resort pool but we were up a hill with no water views and a 5 min walk to the beach (in one direction) and a 5 min to the pool (in the other direction). It wasn't a problem, just worth noting that the pictures aren't totally accurate. The hammock on the front porch was fabulous, and it was great that the bungalows are within walking distance to everything. The breakfast buffet was really good and a lovely way to start the day.

Great place to be - off the beach and surrounded by cockatoos and wallabies. Close to the marina and everything is walkable on the island. They offered free transfers to and from the hotel and breakfast was good quality. Perfect for a short break away.

There was some confusion at times, but overall, it was a nice stay. We wish we had stayed longer. A small kitchen is available for cooking breakfast. The shower had good water pressure. The wallabies on the property were a lovely bonus to our stay. We would return and stay at Palm Bungalow.
