LO QUE NO ME GUSTO FUE QUE COBRARON UN DEPOSITO DE 100 LIBRAS Y A PESAR DE NO HABER CONSUMNIDO NADA, NO HICIERON LA DEVOLUCION DEL IMPORTE. E INCLUSO, VOLVIERON A CARGAR 100 LIBRAS MAS A LA TARJETA , EL DIA POSTERIOR AL CHECK OUT, SIN AUTORIZACION Y SIN EXPLICARNOS PORQUE. ESO FUE EL 23 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2025. FUERON 2 NOCHES DE HOSPEDAJE Y POR LOS MONTOS COBRADOS ES COMO SU HUBIESEN COBRADO LO DE 4 NOCHES. A ESTE MOMENTO, 6 DE OCTUBRE DEL 2025, NO HAN REALIZADO LA DEVOLUCION DEL DEPOSITO, CUANDO COMENTARON QUE SERIA DE 2 A 3 DIAS POSTERIORES DEL CHECK OUT, QUE FUE EL DIA 25 DE SEPTIEMBRE.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for a number of years now me & my partner love it. I booked for one night then added on as was for my partners 50th birthday the staff went above & beyond they upgraded us to the penthouse and surprised us with a ballon & cakes when entering this was a lovely touch! We will always come back to this hotel as it’s nice & chilled right on canal street. Highly recommend.

We felt immediately welcomed to the hotel. I had a bad knee so the receptionist very kindly gave us an upgrade to a room on first floor as the lift was out of order. Very helpful and thoughtful

We have been coming here for years, never complained. Unfortunately this last visit proved bad. The water and therefore the showers and toilet were not working, my wife and I had a function to go to that evening. We were finally offered another room around 1pm which was lot smaller and not what we had paid for. Unfortunately now this place is in doubt as whether we will still use is again, there are so many kettle boutique hotels popping up its time for a change. On checkout, they seemed to find my minibar bill funny as it was rather large.....how about an apology for the utterly crap couple if days we had

Ideally located, smells a bit of damp was my experience and the room was in need off some renovation IMO. Door lock stopped working properly and was quite a challenge to get into the room. Quite noisy room

I was not disappointed by this stay, i was there on a business trip. Although, they were not doing hot breakfast when i stayed, which i did not know about. But would book again. Despite hearing stories about the room i stayed in.

Location very central, and room was quirky and cool. Staff attentive. I'd say a bit pricey for a lack of amenities but that seemed to be the going rate for most hotels across those days

We paid to upgrade a room we had what’s called a snug room and it certainly was . Staff great .

We only stayed for one night but the room was clean and conveniently located where we could easily was to Piccadilly train station and some nice restaurants. Just outside the hotel there was lively night life and yet when we turned in early the room was well insulated from the noise that it wasn't a bother at all.

The Velvet is pure class top to bottom. Rooms are immaculate and it situated in the gay village and super close to Manchester Piccadilly. The staff are so helpful and caring. They really looked after me. I love the Velvet hotel, I'm going to stay there again next year.

In the heart of the gay village, this was the perfect location for my visit. A safe and walkable to so many areas of the city. A vibrant nightlife just outside the door, yet my room was so quiet you wouldn't know it.

It smelled great entering the lobby. Most of the staff was helpful but the late night woman manning the front desk. And the room was not very clean at all.

Been here a few times and it’s been better. Was disappointed this time around. Things broken and reported but not mended. The lifts smelt of mould, the finish wasn’t great and the mirrors and sofa coverings weren’t clean.
