Great place in a very nice location. Staff was extremely friendly and we felt like home there. We could check in early and got a great contact with the owner. Room was great and comfortable and the kitchen that’s was open for use had a nice espressomachine and a waterdiwpenser we could use. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Lucca!

Be aware you will have to walk up several flights of stairs to access the residence. Once up there, everything is clean and well maintained. Valentina was extremely helpful in suggesting dinner and other happenings around Lucca.

Jag är verkligen supernöjd med min vistelse här! Hotellet var över förväntan fint, rent och väldigt mysigt. Valentina var otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam, vilket verkligen gjorde vistelsen ännu bättre. Läget var också perfekt och det var enkelt att ta sig runt. Jag kände mig väldigt välkommen och trivdes verkligen under hela min vistelse. Kommer absolut att välja detta hotell igen om jag kommer tillbaka! Rekommenderas varmt!

This is a real gem. Situated around the antifeatro 10 minutes walk from the duomo, it's a lovely guesthouse. Valentina is a superb host who meets you there. It's like a cross between a hotel and a holiday let with a communal kitchen with a fantastic view and tea and coffee and breakfast snacks. Excellent AC in the room too. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

First, Valentina is an exceptionally warm and welcoming person. We arrived late and had to go through a self-entry process because this isn't an inn with night staff. Her instructions were perfect and we made into our room without a hitch. The location is super. Right on Piazza San Frediano. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the shower was large (huge by European standards). The room was made-up every day, which is a rarity in Europe. There is no elevator, so this would not be a place for people with mobility issues. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place. Great value.

Bellissima! 🇮🇹❤️ We booked this stay very last minute, just for one night, and weren’t expecting too much, but wow, what a wonderful surprise! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, with everything on your doorstep. The room was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, spacious yet so cosy, with lovely amenities including a kitchenette. And the view from the window? Just wow! But what really made our stay special was Valentina. She was incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful, with such a genuine passion for her beautiful city. Without a doubt, the bubbliest, kindest Italian we’ve met throughout our travels! Her enthusiasm and warmth were infectious and made us feel so welcome. We genuinely couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Such a beautiful little find, and somewhere we will happily return to in a heartbeat. Grazie mille, Valentina! ❤️🇮🇹

Great location inside the walls of old Lucca. Gelato, coffee and restaurants along with shops all right there! Be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Would stay there again.

Our stay was amazing!! The hotel is right on the Piazza with an amazing view. The host Valentina is very warm and friendly and has a lot of great tips for touring Lucca. The street that the hotel is on has numerous cafés restaurants, and stores. The bus from the train station takes you within feet of the property, so that is always a plus, plus. We loved this beautiful town: the history, and the people were all wonderful.
