Outstanding hotel with outstanding staff. Only problem was with the shower plug not draining the water fast enough which could have caused a flood plus bathroom extractor fan wasn't working. Other than that, all was good. Would recommend 👍

Our shower cubicle showed some dirt in the grouting and at the hinges. The rooms was good other than that. The staff were pleasant and tried to help. Thay lacked some experience of dealing with guests. A more experienced bar/ restaurant manager to train and guide them could help move the dial from good to great.

We have stayed here twice once in May and then 24 september. The rooms are deceptive. They have nice beds and beautiful bathrooms and nice fluffy towels. The continental breakfast has a good variety but sadly the English breakfast was nowhere near hot enough on both occasions. The bacon had started to go hard and the rest was tepid at best. I would stay again but would not pay £15 for breakfast unless it was sampled first to see if it was hot

The hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay but could not always get access to the spa as it is a separate business and they sell spa packages if they get close to capacity of only 30 they shut the spa to hotel guests.

Stayed for a one night stay in July 2026. Every thing went well from booking to check out including bar and dining. There were a School Prom and Weddings going on during our stay but these did not affect us at all. We thought the stay offered good value for money in quality surroundings. The only minor drawback was the electric vehicle charging - there are a dozen or so Tesla charging stations available on site, but if you have a standard Type 2 connector like me you cannot connect to recharge your vehicle.

Not all rooms have air conditioning check. You get a hours complimentary spa time, this did not appear on the literature check. The hotel and staff were lovely and the grounds are well maintained. There is ample car parking and electric charge points.

Absolutely stunning property with beautiful grounds and facilities. Food was extremely high standard and all staff very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The spa is stunning and offeres everything you need. Little slice of heaven

We have stayed at this hotel previously, however, revisiting in September 2026, we were very disappointed. with the general standard of the hotel and quality of accommodation. the food in the restaurant was, however, very good. The room had a number of issues. Firstly, the sink was blocked. and the bathroom door kept sticking and not closing properly. The shower was stuck on maximum temperature dangerously so. Upon using the window blinds, the blinds fell off the window and lastly, the TV didn’t work to the point where it was useless for watching any kind of programme. Upon checking in the hotel, took a swipe to cover any incidental purchases such as the bar and restaurant, this is fine apart from the fact we were asked to settle all food bills separately, unsure why. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend.
