Best possible hotel one could stay at this close to the Piazza de Popolo. We are neat freaks and hate staying at dumpy places. The type that zoom into the grout/caulking of the bathroom pics and lookup whatever available construction permits exist to see how recently a property was built/renovated. We also dont like overpaying for logos so value actually means something to us. Can't always get the combo right (cleanliness, location and cost) but this was a 9/10. Make sure to include the breakfast if you have kids for busy sightseeing itinerary. Excellent food.

Me and my family of 4 enjoyed the stay at Palazzo Venere. It was recently renovated. Coming from USA, all hotel rooms in Rome seem smaller, but the bathroom here was big and clean. Helped a lot with all 4 of us to get ready on-time. Fantastic location right next to Popolo square. Walkable distance to Spanish steps, Pantheon, Trevi fountain and many other historic sites. Food scene around here is amazing. A nice restaurant every 20 ft. Luxury shopping all around. I would definitely recommend my stay here. Breakfast is served in the morning for a fee.
