I recently stayed at Barceló Warsaw Powiśle and was thoroughly disappointed by a series of issues, despite being a VIP customer with Hotels.com. After a long day of travel, I was given a key card and headed to my room, only to discover that it was already occupied—with someone else's luggage inside. This shocking error led to an uncomfortable and alarming situation, raising serious concerns about privacy and security.
To add to the frustration, one of the hotel’s two elevators was out of service during my stay. With only one functioning elevator, I experienced long waits and crowded rides, making it difficult to get to and from my room efficiently. This inconvenience, coupled with the initial check-in mishap, left me questioning the hotel’s overall management and commitment to guest satisfaction.
While the staff did apologize and assign me a new room, the damage was done. The lack of attention to detail and basic operational failures made my stay far below expectations. I would hesitate to recommend Barceló Warsaw Powiśle, especially for those who expect a smooth, secure, and hassle-free experience.
