This was advertised as a hotel, but it's more like a self serve short term apt rental. Their website says they have 24/7 service and English/Spanish speaking help. They do not. We "checked in" at 8pm, and couldn't find any office or reception. When we finally found someone to help, they showed us to the room, but didn't give us a key to the room or a code to the door. They also didn't tell us any information, just left us in the room (where to park, wifi info, etc.). This may have been a language barrier issue (again, they advertised English and Spanish), but the person didn't even attempt to tell us any information. I tried to email the address on the website to ask how we are supposed to lock our room, and didn't receive a response (still!) The next day, I had to track down someone to ask how to lock our room and how to use the wifi. Again, if this was a self serve rental who just emailed us all the information ahead of time so we could check ourselves in, this wouldn't have been as much of an issue. But why say you have a reception when you don't? The property was fine and the pool/outdoor was very nice, but I was just overall very disappointed in the lack of communication and non existent service.
